Brief Encounters

Jeremy Sarka has started production on a new short film, Brief Encounters. Brief Encounters is a series of nine vignettes exploring different aspects of human relationships. Auditions for the cast will be held from 7-9 PM on Thursday July 8th and 11 AM-1 PM on Saturday July 17th at Sylvester Park in downtown Olympia and from 11 AM-1 PM on Saturday July 10th and 7-9 PM on Wednesday July 14th in Red Square at The Evergreen State College. Letters in the Sand

Jeremy Sarka's Letters in the Sand is the culmination of a year of study and exploration in the Mediaworks program at the Evergreen State College. It documents a personal journey of exploration and discovery—the search for genuine companionship in an often demanding, uncaring world. Letters in the Sand uses beautifully evocative imagery and insightful narration to peel away the layers with which we disguise our feelings, the better to conform to the expectations of those around us.
