Letters in the Sand

Jeremy Sarka's "Letters in the Sand" is the culmination of a year of study and exploration in the Mediaworks program at the Evergreen State College. It documents a personal journey of exploration and discovery—the search for genuine companionship in an often demanding, uncaring world. Letters in the Sand uses beautifully evocative imagery and insightful narration to peel away the layers with which we disguise our feelings, the better to conform to the expectations of those around us.
